March 28th, 2025: Collaboration with Ryler Smith & Wndrfl

Ryler Smith, Wndrfl - by all means necessary (feat. Lawren, The III)

The wait is over. The brother Ryler Smith, the talented producer Wndrfl, and I came together on a track I’ve been truly excited for you all to hear. “by all means necessary” is more than a song — it’s a statement of purpose. It’s raw, real, and driven by the kind of pain that transforms into power. From personal struggles to spiritual growth, this track is about fighting through life’s battles and rising anyway — for yourself, for your people, and for what matters most.

A Song Born of Chance, Respect & Realness

Some collaborations are born in the studio. Others, like this one, are sparked by a chance encounter, mutual respect — and a bit of fate.

"By All Means Necessary" is the electrifying new track from Ryler Smith and Lawren, The III, two artists who couldn’t have predicted how naturally their paths would cross — and how aligned their energies would be.

The story begins on June 4th, 2022, at a techno party in Switzerland. Lawren had just watched a video of Ryler freestyling on YouTube a few days earlier. So when a mutual friend introduced them at the party, the moment felt surreal. “I knew who Ryler was right away,” Lawren recalls. “I had just seen him rap and I thought, yo this guy’s raw.

What stood out most, though, wasn’t just Ryler’s skill — it was his character.

Ryler is a real dude,” Lawren says. “He didn’t know who I was. He hadn’t heard any of my tracks. But he still told me he’d like to work together. That’s rare to see.

Mutual respect set the tone for what would become a powerful collaboration.

The Track

“By All Means Necessary” is more than a song title — it’s a mindset. Over a moody, reflective beat, both artists open up about their personal journeys: Ryler tackles themes of vices, fatherhood, resilience, and truth-telling, while Lawren brings sharp lines about discipline, pain-to-purpose, and becoming a man of integrity.

The verses are raw and introspective, yet grounded in the present. Ryler’s style is free-flowing, full of lived-in grit and unfiltered emotion. Lawren’s voice, on the other hand, feels focused and declarative — like someone who’s made peace with his past and is now walking in purpose.

There’s no need for a hook — the dialogue and interplay between both artists creates a narrative tension that holds the listener from start to finish.

Why It Hits

This is a track for listeners who are tired of surface-level hype. It’s about the grind, the self-doubt, the questions, and the lessons learned the hard way. But it doesn’t stop there. It’s also about real connection, honest artistry, and putting your soul into the music — by all means necessary.

This collab wasn’t manufactured — it happened naturally. And that’s exactly what you hear in the track: two artists showing up as they are, with nothing to prove but everything to say.

Listen to "By All Means Necessary" — not just for the bars, but for the story behind them. Because when respect leads the way, the music speaks for itself.
