"Mama, ... I was really outside." is not a simple EP. It’s a testimony. It’s a record of moments when I could’ve gone left, but didn’t. Or almost did. It’s about being pulled between rage and restraint, between love and distance, between darkness and light. It’s the voice of my mother keeping me grounded. The unanswered calls. The sudden realizations. The feeling of being lost and trying to come home. Outside isn’t always the party. Sometimes it’s the test. And in every moment I chose not to fall, I was fighting to stay human.
