A picture-perfect sunny Sunday was the setting for the first Prix Walo-Sprungbrett 2025 on August 24th. President Monika Kaelin, along with singer and entertainer Bo Katzman and
L.A.B, hosted the event.
They guided the audience through an animated afternoon featuring twelve talented acts, including bands, male and female singers, and hip-hop artists.
The day's winners who celebrated their success were Sam Red (Band), ILKO (Vocals), and SEV (Hip-Hop).
The runner-up in the category Hip-Hop was Lawren, The III, originally from Dübendorf, Zurich. Born in Angola and raised in Switzerland, he writes and produces his own songs, using them to reflect on the world, faith, and himself.
For his performance, he selected two songs—"Demons Challenge Part II" and "Cream (Freestyle)"—from his EP, Mama,... I was really outside.
